This work without title by Paul Jenkins was sold in the Discovery on Sunset auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. It achieved a price of USD 896.00 (€ 821.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Jenkins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phenomena Arroyo Sounding in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 81,790.99).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paul Jenkins wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Discovery on Sunset bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 896,00 (€ 821,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Jenkins erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phenomena Arroyo Sounding im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 81.790,99).
