Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art Online, which included the work Desert Floor 16 x 20 in. framed 22 x 26 1/4 in. by Paul Grimm. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,216.00 (€ 1,114.78). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Grimm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work San Gorgonio in November last year with an auction result of USD 44,475.00 (€ 43,083.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Desert Floor 16 x 20 in. framed 22 x 26 1/4 in. von Paul Grimm zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.216,00 (€ 1.114,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Grimm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit San Gorgonio im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.475,00 (€ 43.083,41).
