The work Cornish Beach by Paul Feiler was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in June last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 44,400.00 (€ 51,580.17), 27% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Feiler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Porthcadjack, blue & black, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 157,250.00 (€ 198,769.27).

Die Arbeit Cornish Beach von Paul Feiler wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 44.400,00 (€ 51.580,17) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Feiler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Porthcadjack, blue & black beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 157.250,00 (€ 198.769,27) versteigert wurde.
