Auction result well in line with expectations
The work FLOWERS IN A WINDOW : OCTOBER 1952 by Patrick Heron was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,520.00 (€ 13,407.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Heron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Blue Table With Window: 1954 in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,160,800.09).

Die Arbeit FLOWERS IN A WINDOW : OCTOBER 1952 von Patrick Heron kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.520,00 (€ 13.407,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Heron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Blue Table With Window: 1954 im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.160.800,09).
