Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 3 REDS : 1967 by Patrick Heron was auctioned at Christies in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 117,430.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Heron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Blue Table With Window: 1954 in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,160,800.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 3 REDS : 1967 von Patrick Heron kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 117.430,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Heron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Blue Table With Window: 1954 im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.160.800,09).
