Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pan Boying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couplets In Running Script in October this year with an auction result of HKD 396,000.00 (€ 47,888.72).

Die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu von Pan Boying kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.143,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pan Boying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couplets In Running Script im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 396.000,00 (€ 47.888,72).
