Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work The artist's self-portrait by Peder Severin Krøyer for DKK 2,300.00 (€ 2,010.14). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peder Severin Krøyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marie i Haven (Marie in the garden) in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 729,750.00 (€ 1,156,743.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The artist's self-portrait von Peder Severin Krøyer für DKK 2.300,00 (€ 2.010,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peder Severin Krøyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marie i Haven (Marie in the garden) im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 729.750,00 (€ 1.156.743,58).
