In the Alte Kunst auction, the work Porträt eines Farbigen sold for EUR 1,419.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Grashof achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Brasilianische Landschaft bei Rio de Janeiro (Niterói?) in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 122,550.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Grashof erzielte im Mai 2013 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alte Kunst wurde die Arbeit Porträt eines Farbigen für EUR 1.419,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Grashof erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Brasilianische Landschaft bei Rio de Janeiro (Niterói?) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 122.550,00.
