In June 2014 VAN HAM held the auction Dekorative Kunst, which included the work Kopf eines Pferdes by Otto Grashof. Here, the estimate of EUR 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 555.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Grashof achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Brasilianische Landschaft bei Rio de Janeiro (Niterói?) in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 122,550.00.
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2014 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Dekorative Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kopf eines Pferdes von Otto Grashof zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 555,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Grashof erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Brasilianische Landschaft bei Rio de Janeiro (Niterói?) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 122.550,00.
