Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work View from Fensmark Church by Otto Bache was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.37). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Bache achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish Et Kobbel Heste Udenfor Lindenborg Kro (The Lindenborg Hunt) in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 58,100.00 (€ 73,905.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit View from Fensmark Church von Otto Bache im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,37) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Bache erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish Et Kobbel Heste Udenfor Lindenborg Kro (The Lindenborg Hunt) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.100,00 (€ 73.905,74).
