Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work A black spotted ox by Otto Bache for DKK 3,600.00 (€ 483.11). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Bache achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish Et Kobbel Heste Udenfor Lindenborg Kro (The Lindenborg Hunt) in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 58,100.00 (€ 73,905.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A black spotted ox von Otto Bache für DKK 3.600,00 (€ 483,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Bache erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish Et Kobbel Heste Udenfor Lindenborg Kro (The Lindenborg Hunt) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.100,00 (€ 73.905,74).
