Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective, which included the work Still Life By A Window by Oskar Moll. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,072.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oskar Moll have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Bunter Tänzer" in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 64,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life By A Window von Oskar Moll zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.072,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oskar Moll auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Bunter Tänzer" im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 64.500,00.
