Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Oscar Murillo could be acquired at Phillips in London in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Movement and rhythm between one place and another #8 changed hands for GBP 57,150.00 (€ 66,676.73) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oscar Murillo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 245,000.00 (€ 342,693.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Oscar Murillo konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Movement and rhythm between one place and another #8 für GBP 57.150,00 (€ 66.676,73) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Murillo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 245.000,00 (€ 342.693,81).
