Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Two Angels: A Pair Of Paintings by Orville Bulman for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,060.39). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Orville Bulman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Voilá Partis in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 103,329.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two Angels: A Pair Of Paintings von Orville Bulman für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.060,39) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Orville Bulman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Voilá Partis im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 103.329,51).
