In April 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work La Barque Fuyard by Orville Bulman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,985.42), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Orville Bulman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Voilá Partis in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 103,329.51).

Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Barque Fuyard von Orville Bulman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 18.985,42) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Orville Bulman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Voilá Partis im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 103.329,51).
