In April 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & Early British Paintings, which included the work St. Cecilia Wearing A Crown Of Flowers, Playing An Organ by Onorio Marinari. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,338.88), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Onorio Marinari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kleopatra in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 148,800.00.

Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & Early British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit St. Cecilia Wearing A Crown Of Flowers, Playing An Organ von Onorio Marinari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.338,88) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Onorio Marinari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kleopatra im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 148.800,00.
