The auction ended at the price of DKK 6,000.00 (€ 804.89), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of DKK 5,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olivia Holm-Møller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harvest landscape in March this year with an auction result of DKK 110,000.00 (€ 14,761.77).

Die Arbeit Water carriers at a farm in Kenya, 1949 von Olivia Holm-Møller wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 6.000,00 (€ 804,89) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 5.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olivia Holm-Møller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harvest landscape im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 110.000,00 (€ 14.761,77).
