Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Olaf Rude could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Landscape, Gudhjem changed hands for DKK 20,000.00 (€ 2,679.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Olaf Rude have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scenery with houses against the Sea, Bornholm in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 20,000.00 (€ 17,479.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Olaf Rude konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Landscape, Gudhjem für DKK 20.000,00 (€ 2.679,79) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olaf Rude auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scenery with houses against the Sea, Bornholm im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 20.000,00 (€ 17.479,46).
