Sold at the upper estimate price
In December 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction The Hoarder Sale, which included this untitled work by Not Vital. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,772.82), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Not Vital achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sled in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 84,485.41).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Hoarder Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Not Vital zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.772,82) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Not Vital erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sled im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 84.485,41).
