Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work Portrait by Nicolas Party. It changed hands for a price of HKD 2,268,000.00 (€ 282,999.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 1,800,000.00 – 2,400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Party achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Sunset in November last year with an auction result of HKD 52,050,000.00 (€ 6,458,979.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait von Nicolas Party zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 2.268.000,00 (€ 282.999,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.800.000,00 – 2.400.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Party erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Sunset im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 52.050.000,00 (€ 6.458.979,95).
