Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape by Nicolas Party was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale: Worlds In A Hand auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 22,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 23,050,000.00 (€ 2,610,894.15). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolas Party - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Sunset, which sold at auction in November last year for HKD 52,050,000.00 (€ 6,458,979.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Nicolas Party wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale: Worlds In A Hand bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 22.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 23.050.000,00 (€ 2.610.894,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Party mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Sunset beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für HKD 52.050.000,00 (€ 6.458.979,95) versteigert wurde.
