Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2005 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings including Andrea del, which included the work An Old Woman, Bust-Length, In White Robe And Headdress; And An Old Man, Bust-Length, Wearing A Black Beret by Nicolas Lagneau. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,310.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolas Lagneau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait d'homme barbu au béret, which sold at auction in March 2019 for EUR 25,000.00.

Im Juli 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings including Andrea del durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Old Woman, Bust-Length, In White Robe And Headdress; And An Old Man, Bust-Length, Wearing A Black Beret von Nicolas Lagneau zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.310,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
