This artwork by Nicholas Garland achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2014. In the The Raglan Collection: Wellington, Waterloo and The Crimea And Works of Art from the Collection of the Marquesses of Londonderry auction, the work Annabel's sold for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,994.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Nicholas Garland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Annabel's in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,559.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicholas Garland erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Raglan Collection: Wellington, Waterloo and The Crimea And Works of Art from the Collection of the Marquesses of Londonderry wurde die Arbeit Annabel's für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.994,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicholas Garland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Annabel's im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.559,39).
