Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art / Turkish, which included this untitled work by Nejad Devrim. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,727.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nejad Devrim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract Composition in April 2012 with an auction result of GBP 735,650.00 (€ 902,254.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art / Turkish durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nejad Devrim zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.727,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nejad Devrim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract Composition im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 735.650,00 (€ 902.254,23).
