The work Portrait 3 by Natalie Frank was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in February 2018. The auction ended at the price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,456.80), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Natalie Frank - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work War, which sold at auction in September last year for USD 9,450.00 (€ 9,659.61).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Portrait 3 von Natalie Frank wurde im Februar 2018 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.456,80) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Natalie Frank mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit War beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für USD 9.450,00 (€ 9.659,61) versteigert wurde.
