Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rainbow by Mr. Doodle was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 650,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 698,500.00 (€ 84,470.38). Admittedly, works by Mr. Doodle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Big Kitty in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rainbow von Mr. Doodle kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 650.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 698.500,00 (€ 84.470,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mr. Doodle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Big Kitty im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
