Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Caravan Chaos(Painted In 2015) by Mr. Doodle was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 12,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 1,741.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. Doodle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Big Kitty in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Caravan Chaos(Painted In 2015) von Mr. Doodle wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 1.741,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. Doodle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Big Kitty im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
