Artwork auctioned at 18 times the upper estimate price
When the work Emeraud Green - 2015 by Mist was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May 2015, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 501.00 but the actual price achieved was more than 18 times as high at EUR 9,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mist; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hypoténus - 2011 sold at auction in February 2020 with the realized price of EUR 13,000.00.

Als die Arbeit Emeraud Green - 2015 von Mist im Mai 2015 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 501,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 9.500,00 mehr als 18-mal so hoch. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mist; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Hypoténus - 2011 im Februar 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 13.000,00.
