Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Senza rumore by Mimmo Rotella was auctioned at Il Ponte in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 40,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mimmo Rotella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,082,500.00 (€ 1,387,090.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Senza rumore von Mimmo Rotella kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 40.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Rotella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.082.500,00 (€ 1.387.090,08).
