Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work Plutone by Michelangelo Maestri. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,666.50), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michelangelo Maestri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Personifications of eleven hours of the day and night in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 16,450.00 (€ 28,161.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plutone von Michelangelo Maestri zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.666,50) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michelangelo Maestri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Personifications of eleven hours of the day and night im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.450,00 (€ 28.161,73).
