Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Chateau de l'Arbresle (Rhône) by Maurice Utrillo was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in December this year. The price achieved of USD 38,400.00 (€ 34,713.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.

Die Arbeit Le Chateau de l'Arbresle (Rhône) von Maurice Utrillo kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 38.400,00 (€ 34.713,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen.
