Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Nature morte by Maurice Blond for EUR 336.00. This price was achieved in the auction Intérieurs at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Blond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two village scenes First: signed in Latin (lower right) in June last year with an auction result of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,147.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nature morte von Maurice Blond für EUR 336,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Intérieurs bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Blond erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two village scenes First: signed in Latin (lower right) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.147,32).
