Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Leonardo DiCaprio, Los Angeles, 1999 by Mark Seliger was sold in the Mark Seliger: RADArt4Aid auction at Christies in New York in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,116.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Seliger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work President Barack Obama, Washington, DC, 2010 in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,389.72).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Leonardo DiCaprio, Los Angeles, 1999 von Mark Seliger wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Mark Seliger: RADArt4Aid bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.116,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
