Upper estimate price exceeded by 71 %.
In May this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Una coppia by Mario Sironi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,200.00 71% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Sironi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paesaggio Con Tempio in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 826,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 71 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Una coppia von Mario Sironi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.200,00 und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Sironi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paesaggio Con Tempio im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 826.500,00.
