Sold at the lower estimate price
In May this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Montagne by Mario Sironi. The result of EUR 2,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Sironi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paesaggio Con Tempio in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 826,500.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Montagne von Mario Sironi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Sironi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paesaggio Con Tempio im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 826.500,00.
