Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Un Cane by Marcello Dudovich was auctioned at Christies in Rome in November 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 1,800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,364.00. Admittedly, works by Marcello Dudovich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Corse Di Brescia in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,962.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Un Cane von Marcello Dudovich im November 2004 bei Christies in Rom versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.364,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcello Dudovich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Corse Di Brescia im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.962,49).
