The work “Burning Bush”, 1995 by Maja Lisa Engelhardt was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year. It achieved a price of DKK 42,000.00 (€ 5,638.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Maja Lisa Engelhardt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot “Solemærke” (Sun mark), 1989 sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of DKK 65,000.00 (€ 8,726.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit “Burning Bush”, 1995 von Maja Lisa Engelhardt kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 42.000,00 (€ 5.638,46) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Maja Lisa Engelhardt; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit “Solemærke” (Sun mark), 1989 im Juni diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von DKK 65.000,00 (€ 8.726,19).
