Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Atmosphere Chromoplastique N. 948 by Luis Tomasello. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,820.00 (€ 8,878.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luis Tomasello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Atmosphère Chromoplastique No. 404 in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Atmosphere Chromoplastique N. 948 von Luis Tomasello zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.820,00 (€ 8.878,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luis Tomasello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Atmosphère Chromoplastique No. 404 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 210.119,35).
