Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Huey", 2009 by Luis Gispert was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 120,000.00 – 150,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 10,267.86). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luis Gispert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "DC-3", which sold at auction in November 2015 for SEK 200,000.00 (€ 21,700.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Huey", 2009 von Luis Gispert im Oktober 2017 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 120.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 10.267,86) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Luis Gispert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "DC-3" beobachtet, die im November 2015 für SEK 200.000,00 (€ 21.700,44) versteigert wurde.
