Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2004 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work Ecce Homo by Luis de Morales. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 15,535.00 (€ 21,986.31). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luis de Morales achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Virgin And Child, Or La Virgén Del Sombrero in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 1,609,250.00 (€ 1,866,725.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ecce Homo von Luis de Morales zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 15.535,00 (€ 21.986,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luis de Morales erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Virgin And Child, Or La Virgén Del Sombrero im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.609.250,00 (€ 1.866.725,15).
