In April 2014 Il Ponte held the auction XIX and XX Century Sculptures and Paintings | Furniture and Old Master Paintings, which included the work Dal mio studio a Calcio by Luigi Zago. The result of EUR 600.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Zago - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Custozza, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 1,800.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2014 führte Il Ponte die Auktion XIX and XX Century Sculptures and Paintings | Furniture and Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dal mio studio a Calcio von Luigi Zago zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 600,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Zago mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Custozza beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 1.800,00 versteigert wurde.
