In April 2014 Il Ponte held the auction XIX and XX Century Sculptures and Paintings | Furniture and Old Master Paintings, which included the work Alla finestra by Luigi Zago. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 700.00 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Zago - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Custozza, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 1,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im April 2014 führte Il Ponte die Auktion XIX and XX Century Sculptures and Paintings | Furniture and Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Alla finestra von Luigi Zago zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 700,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Zago mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Custozza beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 1.800,00 versteigert wurde.
