Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Phillips in New York held the auction Design & Design Art, which included the work Two unique compacts "Le Symbole Alchimique de l'Or" and "Equilibre” by Line Vautrin. The price achieved of USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,001.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Line Vautrin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unique and important dining table in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 90,929.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Design & Design Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two unique compacts "Le Symbole Alchimique de l'Or" and "Equilibre” von Line Vautrin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.001,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Line Vautrin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unique and important dining table im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 90.929,76).
