In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Girl And Chickens by Lin Yong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 84,000.00 (€ 9,343.84), 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lin Yong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady Tidying Her Hair in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 82,546.36).

Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl And Chickens von Lin Yong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 84.000,00 (€ 9.343,84) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lin Yong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady Tidying Her Hair im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 82.546,36).
