Auction result well in line with expectations
The work House And Trees by Lim Tze Peng was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,963.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lim Tze Peng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Singapore River Scene in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,250,000.00 (€ 141,588.62).

Die Arbeit House And Trees von Lim Tze Peng kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.963,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lim Tze Peng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Singapore River Scene im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.250.000,00 (€ 141.588,62).
