The work Fruit Stalls by Lim Tze Peng was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,651.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Admittedly, works by Lim Tze Peng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Singapore River Scene in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,250,000.00 (€ 141,588.62).

Die Arbeit Fruit Stalls von Lim Tze Peng wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.651,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lim Tze Peng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Singapore River Scene im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.250.000,00 (€ 141.588,62).
