The work Balinese Procession by Lim Tze Peng was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,292.33), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lim Tze Peng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Singapore River Scene in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,250,000.00 (€ 141,588.62).

Die Arbeit Balinese Procession von Lim Tze Peng wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.292,33) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lim Tze Peng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Singapore River Scene im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.250.000,00 (€ 141.588,62).
