However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lill Tschudi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fixing the Wires, which sold at auction in December this year for GBP 23,040.00 (€ 26,541.20).

Die Arbeit Sailors' Holiday von Lill Tschudi wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.400,00 (€ 7.372,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lill Tschudi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fixing the Wires beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für GBP 23.040,00 (€ 26.541,20) versteigert wurde.
