Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Duck by Li Kuchan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. The price achieved of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,738.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Kuchan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Egret by Lotus in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 168,189.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Duck von Li Kuchan kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.738,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Kuchan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Egret by Lotus im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 168.189,06).
