Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Solomon Praying In The Temple by Leonaert Bramer was sold in the Old Masters Online auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,708.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonaert Bramer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Circumcision in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 41,825.00 (€ 59,193.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Solomon Praying In The Temple von Leonaert Bramer wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Old Masters Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.708,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
